The Bachelor of Applied Commerce prepares graduates for employment in the financial services sector. Students complete a double major - in accounting and financial planning - which will broaden the range of jobs open to graduates. As well as specfic accounting and financial planning subjects, students also complete subjects in management, marketing, law, economics and business statistics to ensure you have the full range of knowledge and skills required to work effectively in the fast paced and growing financial services industry. On completion of the Bachelor of Applied Commerce, graduates will be eligible to apply for membership with CPA, CA ANZ, TPB and FPA. The financial planning major meets the new FASEA Education requirements.The Bachelor of Applied Commerce majoring in accounting and financial planning requires students to complete a minimum of 28 subjects.
