The Bachelor of Information Technology (Cyber and Network Security) is a three year degree (or part-time equivalent) that will prepare you to work as a cyber-security specialist in the fast-growing and dynamic IT industry. Cybercrime is a growing threat to Australian business, consumers and government, and this has created an unprecedented demand for professionals who can secure and monitor IT systems and protect personal and organisational privacy. This degree is taught by industry practitioners and there are many opportunities to collaborate on industry projects which will prepare you to enter the profession as well as establish industry contacts.
