With streams in life insurance and general insurance, this course will give you a strong grounding in the theory and practice of Insurance Law. You will study the core unit Insurance Claims and Dispute Resolution and choose from a range of option units, allowing you to design the best course for you.Expand your knowledge of insurance law with a view to joining, or advancing your career in, the insurance industry, or in a regulator or a service provider to the insurance industry.This new course, a first in Australia, will give you a strong grounding in the theory and practise of Insurance Law. You will study the core unit Insurance Claims and Dispute Resolution and Principles and Practice of General Insurance Law or Principles and Practice of Life Insurance Law, along with a choice of units including Select Topics in Insurance Law, Public Policy, Foundations of International Commercial Law, International Shipping Law, and more.
