The Master of Laws in Enterprise Governance is an eight-subject program able to be completed in four semesters (16 months) of part-time study. It has been designed for law and non-law graduates who wish to enhance their enterprise governance skills, knowledge, and effectiveness. Each subject in the program is delivered as a combination of online modules and a two-day intensive workshop. The program is suitable for experienced leaders, directors, officers, and board members, as well as for those aspiring to board membership and other leadership positions. It is the only Master of Laws in Australia with a specific focus on enterprise governance. The program explores critical aspects of enterprise governance including ethics, commercial structures, strategy, risk, compliance, finance, tax and insolvency, privacy, consumer law, IT law and cyber security. There is a substantial focus on law and ethics: all enterprise governance is underpinned by a regulatory, legal and compliance framework, and effective enterprise governance must be, and be seen to be, ethical.
